नाशिकच्या नैसर्गिक सुबत्तेला धोका पोहचायला सुरुवात झाली आहे. चिंतेची बाब अशी की, ब्रह्मगिरी पर्वताला आहिल्या धरणाच्या वरच्या बाजूस असलेल्या जांबाची वाडी परिसरात जमिनीला तडा गेल्याने परिसरातील ग्रामस्थांमध्ये भीतीचे वातावरण पसरले आहे. मात्र परिसरात काही वर्षांपूर्वी एका बांधकाम व्यावसायिकाने जेसीबीने उत्खनन केल्याने पर्यावरणप्रेमींनी हे काम थांबवले होते. त्याचा मोठा परिणाम झाला असेल अशी शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही.Brahmagiri

जांबाच्या वाडीपासून साधारणत: 350 ते ४०० मीटर अंतरावर असलेल्या परिसराचा मानवी वस्तीस धोका नाही असे प्राथमिक स्वरुपात दिसून येतय, तसेच भूस्खलन होणार नसल्याचा निर्वाळा महसूल अधिका-यांनी दिला आहे. मात्र , मागच्या काही वर्षांमध्ये मेटघरकिल्ला ग्रामपंचायतीत येणा-या विनायखिंड परिसरात दरड कोसळून एकाचा मृत्यू झाला होता.
तेव्हापासून नागरिकांमध्ये भीतीचे वातावरण आहे. जांबाची वाडी येथील ग्रामस्थांनी स्थलांतर करण्यात यावे आणि ञ्यंबक नगरपालिका हद्दीत पुनर्वसन करण्याची मागणी तहसीलदार दीपक गिरासे यांच्याकडे करण्यात आली आहे.Brahmagiri
